BECOME A MEMBER
KAECE membership is open to all who are interested in the field of early childhood including students and professionals who work with and care for young children, parents and those who provide education and resources for these individuals. Anyone interested in promoting the purpose of KAECE may become a member upon payment of annual dues. All members of KAECE are also members of the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA).
KAECE has been an affiliate of Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA) since 1948. In 2017, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) made some changes in their affiliate requirements, and KAECE no longer qualifies. Therefore, separate memberships are required. This is a recent change.
To become a KAECE/SECA member go to the SECA website and complete the online registration. $55 will get you a combined SECA KAECE membership for one year. Student membership is only $25.
Through our commitment to professional development and networking, Kentucky Association for Early Childhood Education values and supports young children and their families and early care and education professionals.
There is a new option for child care programs: SECA Group Membership. Contact the SECA office at 501-221-1648 or info@seca.
